Liverpool to move for Igor Denisov?

Liverpool are reportedly preparing a January bid for Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder Igor Denisov.

The 28-year-old, who is the captain of Russia, was banished to the Zenit reserves last week following a reported rift at the club.

According to talkSPORT, Liverpool are well aware of the Russian's current situation and will attempt to sign the midfielder in the next transfer window.

Denisov has 32 international caps to his name.
