FC Twente striker Luuk de Jong has attracted interest from 16 clubs following a successful season, according to his agent.
The 21-year-old has netted 30 times for Steve McLaren's team this season and recent reports have suggested that Liverpool are ready to bid around £12m for the Dutch international.
The player's agent Luis Laros said: "Liverpool are following Luuk closely. But so are 15 other clubs. Three big clubs who played in the Champions League want to do a firm deal with Twente.
"We'll see what cards we hold in a few weeks."
The striker's current deal expires in 2014.
