Liverpool, Manchester City track Eric Abidal

Liverpool and Manchester City are tracking Barcelona defender Eric Abidal.

The French international will be out of contract at the Nou Camp at the end of the season.

Despite being offered a new two-year-deal with the Spanish champions, Abidal is thought to be pondering his future, according to L'Equipe.

The 32-year-old overcame a liver tumour last season.
