Lazio attacker Joaquin Correa, who has been linked with Liverpool, says that he would "like to play in the Premier League".

Lazio attacker Joaquin Correa has revealed that he would "like to play in the Premier League" amid suggestions that Liverpool are exploring a deal for the Argentina international.

The Reds have allegedly identified the 25-year-old as a potential summer target, with the club thought to be keen to bring in competition for Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in the final third.

Correa has been in impressive form for his Italian club during the 2019-20 campaign, contributing eight goals and four assists in 27 appearances in all competitions.

The South American has said that he is currently focused on Lazio but wants to play in England's top flight at some point in the future.

"I'd like to play in the Premier League. Right now, I am concentrating on Lazio, but I enjoy the English league too. I would want to improve my English and I will do that," Vazquez said on an Instagram Live.

The attacker has a contract with his Serie A side until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
