Liverpool 'interested in Galatasaray keeper'

Liverpool have made an approach for Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, according to media reports in Turkey.

Recent reports have suggested that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp will keep faith with first-choice keeper Simon Mignolet despite his shaky form this season, although Kralspor claims that contact has now been made with the Super Lig giants over a £15m bid for Muslera.

The Uruguayan moved to Turkey from Lazio in 2011 and has since featured over 150 times, being named Super Lig's player of the season last term.

The 29-year-old has previously had stints with Montevideo and Nacional and is first choice for his national side.
