Liverpool chasing Paris Saint-Germain full-back Lucas Digne?

Liverpool look likely to continue their summer spending spree with a move for Paris Saint-Germain full-back Lucas Digne, according to a report in the press.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is reportedly prepared to continue his summer spending with a move to capture Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Digne.

The Anfield club are thought to be close to agreeing a £32m deal for Aston Villa frontman Christian Benteke, and the Daily Star suggests that the Reds will then move for 22-year-old left-back Digne once that transfer is complete.

The France international is under contract until 2018, but it is believed that the youngster could be bought for a fee in the region of £9m.

Liverpool have already brought in the likes of James Milner, Roberto Firmino and Nathaniel Clyne during the current window.
