Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal are reportedly showing serious interest in signing two Liverpool attackers in the summer transfer window.

Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal are reportedly seriously interested in signing Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz from Liverpool this summer.

Nunez is widely expected to leave Liverpool this summer, having struggled to produce his best form on a consistent basis since he arrived from Benfica in 2022.

The Uruguayan has been restricted to just 17 starts in 44 competitive appearances this season, mustering seven goals and seven assists for the Merseyside club.

Meanwhile, Diaz also faces an uncertain future at Anfield despite contributing 16 goals and eight assists in 47 competitive matches this season.

Diaz is set to enter the final two years of his Liverpool contract, although the Reds are keen to discuss a new deal at the end of the season.

Al-Hilal eyeing double Liverpool swoop

However, Liverpool's hopes of tying Diaz down to a new contract could be tempered by interest from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

According to Caught Offside, the Saudi Pro League club are showing 'serious interest' in signing Diaz and his Liverpool teammate Nunez.

The report claims that Liverpool head coach Arne Slot is reluctant to part ways with Diaz in the upcoming transfer window.

However, there is a belief that a proposal in the region of €80m (£68m) could be enough to persuade the Reds to sanction the Colombian's sale.

Liverpool are likely to be more open to Nunez's departure, although it could also take an €80m (£68m) offer to sign a player who is under contract until the summer of 2028.

Nunez has been heavily linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, but it is unclear whether the Spanish side are willing to meet Liverpool's asking price.

What star names already play for Al-Hilal?

From Al-Hilal's perspective, they are keen to recruit more high-profile names as they look to improve their squad, especially as they are likely to fall short in this season's title race.

Al-Hilal already boast a number of former Premier League players, including Ruben Neves, Joao Cancelo and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Saudi Pro League side are currently searching for a new manager after Jorge Jesus recently left his role amid links with the Brazil national team job.
