Lanzini 'honoured' by Liverpool link

West Ham United midfielder Manuel Lanzini has admitted that he is flattered by interest from Liverpool, but claims that he is happy to stay with the Hammers.

The 22-year-old, who is on the books of Abu Dhabi club Al-Jazira, has helped the East London outfit to sixth in the Premier League table thanks to a number of impressive performances.

Speaking before West Ham's encounter with Tottenham Hotspur, Lanzini is quoted by ESPN as saying: "It's an absolute honour that a team like Liverpool has put an eye on me, but at moment I am focused on the match against Tottenham."

The Argentine began his career at River Plate.
