Mateo Kovacic: 'I don't want to leave Inter Milan'

Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic denies that he wants to leave the Italian giants this summer.

Mateo Kovacic has played down speculation that he is angling for a move away from Inter Milan this summer.

The 21-year-old has been strongly linked with Liverpool over the last couple of weeks, while Bayer Leverkusen have also been credited with an interest.

The Croatian, however, has claimed that he wants to stay in Milan.

"I want to show that I deserve to be at Inter, I want to win with this shirt. Inter are like Real Madrid or Barcelona," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I want to stay here. I will not move... the relationship between Inter and me will be a long one. The club have never told me they want to sell me."

Kovacic still has four years to run on his current Inter deal.
