Jurgen Klopp refuses to discuss Alex Teixeira

Jurgen Klopp has declined the opportunity to discuss Liverpool's supposed interest in Shakhtar Donetsk playmaker Alex Teixeira.

Recent speculation claimed that the Reds had submitted a £25m bid for the 26-year-old, who is said to be keen to make the move to Anfield.

However, when asked if there had been any developments, Klopp told reporters: "Absolutely nothing to say.

"Maybe it surprises you. [I have] nothing to say to things like this."

Teixeira has found the net 26 times from his 25 outings in all competitions this season.
