Everton to battle neighbours Liverpool for Emil Forsberg?

Everton have reportedly entered the running to sign RB Leipzig winger Emil Forsberg.

It was recently claimed that the Sweden international had been the subject of interest from Everton's major rivals Liverpool.

However, the Daily Star claims that the Toffees sent a scout to watch the 24-year-old in action at the weekend, with a view to a summer bid being lodged.

Forsberg joined his German employers from Malmo in January 2015.
