Liverpool's Sebastian Coates hopeful of securing Nacional loan deal

Liverpool defender Sebastian Coates has admitted that he wants to sign for Nacional on loan.

The 23-year-old Uruguayan has been out of action since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in August last year.

"It would be beautiful to join Nacional and complete my recovery in Uruguay with my family and friends," Coates told Radio El Espectador 810. "The negotiations can be hard sometimes, and we have to wait a bit."

Coates moved to Anfield in 2011.
