Barcelona have reportedly decided to make an improved offer for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
Since selling Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona have upped their attempts to take Coutinho to Camp Nou but as it stands, Liverpool are refusing to entertain any bids for their star man.
However, according to the blog Now Balls, Barcelona have offered a fee of €130m (£118m) in an attempt to push through what would be their marquee signing of the summer.
It has been claimed that the fee is an increase of €10m from their previous effort, and the Catalan giants remain confident of eventually securing the signature of a player who only recently penned a long-term contract at Anfield.
Since moving to Liverpool at the start of 2013, Coutinho has netted 43 times in 181 appearances in all competitions, but the playmaker was instrumental in guiding the Premier League outfit to fourth place in the table last season.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has reiterated on several occasions that the 25-year-old will not be sold during this transfer window.
