Mario Balotelli completes AC Milan medical

Italian forward Mario Balotelli has completed his AC Milan medical ahead of a season-long loan move from Liverpool.

The 25-year-old departed Milan for the Premier League last summer but struggled to make his mark at Anfield, scoring just one league goal.

Talk of a return to San Siro has gathered pace over the last couple of days, and Milan's official Twitter account has revealed that the striker underwent a medical examination on Tuesday morning.

Balotelli scored 30 times in 54 games for Milan between 2012 and 2014.
