West Ham boss Sam Allardyce reveals that he will look into the possibility of keeping Andy Carroll beyond the end of this season.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has revealed that he would like to keep Andy Carroll at the club next season.

Carroll, who is currently on loan at Upton Park from Liverpool, scored twice in a 3-1 win for the Hammers this afternoon, turning in what Allardyce dubbed as his "best performance" yet.

Liverpool are not likely to let the striker go cheaply after spending £35m on him just over two years ago, but Allardyce admitted that he will explore the option at the end of the season.

When asked whether he would like Carroll to stay, Allardyce said: "The answer to that would be yes.

"There is always a possibility. We will look at the end of the season and we will see what negotiations can be done."

West Ham now sit 11th in the Premier League table, level on points with 10th-placed Fulham.
