Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. West Ham United

Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Monday's Premier League meeting with West Ham United.

Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid when they return to Premier League action with a home match against West Ham United.

The Reds suffered just a third loss of the campaign in Tuesday's Champions League last-16 first leg at the Wanda Metropolitano through Saul Niguez's early strike.

Jurgen Klopp's men have a chance to redeem themselves in next month's second leg, but for now all focus turns back to their Premier League title charge as West Ham head to Anfield on Monday.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Liverpool ahead of the clash with lowly United.

Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: February 24 (vs. West Ham)

Xherdan Shaqiri is yet to turn out for the Reds in 2020 due to a calf problem, and the Switzerland international is considered a major doubt for Monday night's match.

Nathaniel Clyne

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Nathaniel Clyne is another player yet to turn out for Liverpool this calendar year having suffered a serious knee injury last summer. The 28-year-old might have played his last game for the club as his contract expires in June.

Jordan Henderson

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson limped off late on in the defeat to Atletico Madrid with a tight hamstring. Klopp has downplayed the seriousness of the injury, however, and the Englishman is not expected to spend any serious length of time on the sidelines.
