How Liverpool could line up against Fulham

Sports Mole looks at how title-chasing Liverpool could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Fulham as they attempt to move top of the table.

Liverpool have the chance to move top of the Premier League table on Sunday when they take on relegation-threatened Fulham at Craven Cottage.

With leaders Manchester City in FA Cup action, Jurgen Klopp's side will ensure top spot going into the first international break of the year with victory in West London.

Anything less would be a major blow to their title hopes, but Liverpool go into the game off the back of an impressive 3-1 win away to Bayern Munich which sealed their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how the Reds could line up for another crucial showdown in the capital.

Liverpool's victory in Bavaria did come at a cost, with captain Jordan Henderson twisting his ankle and being forced off within 13 minutes to be replaced by Fabinho.

Henderson remains a major doubt for this match despite hopes that the injury is not too serious, which should see Fabinho return to the starting XI.

Georginio Wijnaldum is a fixture of that midfield trio at the moment, but the third spot seems up for grabs this weekend with Adam Lallana handed a rare start last weekend and James Milner brought in against Bayern. Naby Keita could also be in contention, although he missed midweek with a minor muscle injury.

Dejan Lovren has been an unused substitute in the last two games and could feature in some capacity this weekend in order to give him some much-needed game time, but Klopp may opt against including him from the start after so long out.

The front three will remain unchanged, meanwhile, with Sadio Mane in particular looking to continue his fine recent form after two goals at the Allianz Arena.
