Pepe Reina and Jamie Carragher shake off injuries to start for Liverpool against Aston Villa.

Goalkeeper Pepe Reina and veteran centre-back Jamie Carragher have been reinstated to the Liverpool starting lineup for this afternoon's trip to Aston Villa in the Premier League.

However, there is no place in the team for Daniel Sturridge, which means that Luis Suarez will play as a lone striker.

Meanwhile, Nathan Baker has been included for the home team, who will start with Gabriel Agbonlahor, Andreas Weimann and Christian Benteke in attack.

Aston Villa: Guzan; Lowton, Vlaar, Baker, Bennett; Westwood, Bannan, Sylla; Agbonlahor, Weimann, Benteke

Liverpool: Reina; Johnson, Enrique, Carragher, Agger; Lucas, Henderson, Gerrard, Coutinho, Downing; Suarez
