Adam Morgan brace helps Liverpool to win over Rosenborg

Adam Morgan scored a brace as Liverpool overcame Rosenborg to secure their first victory in the NextGen series at St Helens Langtree Park this evening.

Lloyd Jones put the Reds ahead on the quarter-hour mark before Morgan doubled the lead in the 32nd minute.

Martin Lundal pulled a goal back for Rosenborg, who comfortably beat Liverpool last week, but Morgan restored the two-goal lead in added-on time in the first half.

The home side killed the game off just before the full-time whistle through Jerome Sinclair.
