Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is hopeful that he can nab his first ever away goal in the Premier League when the team take on Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has claimed that he hopes to score his first ever away goal in the Premier League when the team go head to head with Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley on Sunday.

The 26-year-old has been playing in England for two years, initially for Newcastle United before moving to Anfield last year.

In that time, Wijnaldum, who has started seven top-flight fixtures for the Reds this season, has scored 17 goals, but none of those has been on the road.

"I get the chance to do it [against Tottenham]. I will try to score goals, but first I have to help the team," Wijnaldum told Soccer Saturday. "And if it is without scoring a goal, then that is it, but it would be nice to score a goal at Wembley."

Liverpool currently reside ninth in the league table with three wins, four draws and one defeat under their belt.

Tottenham are four points ahead in third place and are unbeaten in their last six league matches.
