Suso hails Steven Gerrard professionalism

Former Liverpool playmaker Suso has revealed that he was given a "daily lesson" in professionalism from captain Steven Gerrard.

The 21-year-old Spaniard left for AC Milan earlier in the transfer window, but the midfielder said that he learned a lot from the Reds skipper during his time at Anfield.

He told Marca: "What did I learn from Steven? His professionalism. He trains every day as if it was his first, as if he was a youth team player. It was a daily lesson."

Suso made 14 appearances for the Reds during his time at Liverpool.
