Luis Suarez "upset" by Patrice Evra's claims

Luis Suarez has described himself as "upset" following Patrice Evra's claims that the Liverpool striker racially abused him during Manchester United's 1-1 draw at Anfield yesterday afternoon.

"I'm upset by the acusations of racism," the Uruguayan wrote on Twitter and Facebook. "I can only say that I have always respected and respect everybody.

"We are all the same. I go to the field with the maximum illusion of a little child who enjoys what he does, not to create conflicts."

The Football Association have confirmed that they intend to investigate the situation.
