Luis Suarez has laughed off comparisons to Barcelona's Lionel Messi after he netted four times for Uruguay on Friday.
The Liverpool striker scored all of his country's goals in their 4-0 win over Chile.
"Comparisons with Messi embarrass me," Suarez said.
"It also makes me smile, but I feel the comparisons are just the reaction from the Uruguay fans as everything seems to be going well at the moment.
"I am happy, but we have to look at the work of the whole team as it is not just about one player."
Suarez has recently played down a back injury and insists that he will be fit to face Chelsea this weekend.
