Daniel Sturridge wins fans' Player of the Month

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has been named as the FTBpro PFA Fan Player of the Month for February.

The Reds forward was in superb form throughout the month with five goals in four appearances, and the England international is second only to teammate Luis Suarez in the Premier League's scoring chart, with Sturridge netting 18 to the Uruguayan's 24.

The 24-year-old will be presented with the award by a fan at their next home game against Sunderland on March 26.

Brendan Rodgers's side are currently second in the table, and travel to Manchester United on March 16 for their next game.
