Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling has insisted that he and his teammates need to respond to their recent defeat by grabbing back-to-back wins this week.
The Merseyside outfit succumbed to a 3-1 loss at the hands of Hull City at the KC Stadium yesterday.
The Reds are now preparing to take on Norwich City at Anfield on Wednesday, which is followed by a visit from West Ham United on Saturday.
"In these back-to-back games at home, hopefully we can go out there and get the six points that we need to get right back where we need to be," Sterling told the club's official website.
"We've got big ambitions to be right up at the top end. Hopefully in these next two games we can do the job."
As a result of yesterday's defeat, Liverpool have dropped from second to fourth in the Premier League table.
