Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has called on his players to be more "tenacious and aggressive" following a poor start to the season.
The Reds have taken just 14 points from 12 games in the Premier League, which has resulted in their worst start to a campaign for 22 years.
"We need to be more tenacious, more aggressive and have a greater capacity to defend better as a team," Rodgers told the club's official website. "When there are moments to defend, you have to defend better, and that's something that we'll look to do."
The Merseyside outfit have lost their last five games in all competitions and face a crucial tie against Ludogorets Razgrad on Wednesday night as they try to keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League knockout rounds.
