Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has claimed that he has no intention of changing his attacking approach next season.
The Reds plundered 101 goals last season, but were criticised for a perceived naivety as they threw away a three-goal lead against Crystal Palace on May 5 to effectively end their title challenge.
However, speaking to the club's official website, Rodgers stated that he won't alter his tactics next term.
He said: "What has been interesting is people talking about me moving away from some of the principles and ideas that I've always worked with. It couldn't be further from the truth.
"As time has gone on, we've added penetration - it's much better. We're much quicker with our passing, the speed of our game is better and obviously we've got quality at the top end of the field.
"Players are now flooding forward looking to score goals, as opposed to the idea of just keeping the ball - because that's no good on its own."
Liverpool finished second last season, and will be back in the Champions League for the first time in five years next term.
