Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that the club's delayed return from Italy will not hinder their preparations for this weekend.
The Reds were forced to stay an extra night in Italy on Thursday following their Europa League win over Udinese due to an engine failure on their aeroplane.
Rodgers and his players, who travel to West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday, eventually touched down in England on Friday afternoon.
"It hasn't affected things much because I think most of the players here will have been on the first day of their recovery, anyway," he told reporters.
"The only ones it may have slightly affected will have been the players left at home, but that's all been taken care of."
Liverpool's victory in Italy on Thursday saw them finish top of Europa League Group A.
