Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has said that his team needs to be more creative in order to score more goals.
The Merseyside club have only scored three times in five Premier League games, and the 42-year-old has admitted that his side need to make more opportunities like they have in previous years.
Speaking after his side's 3-1 defeat to Manchester United, Rodgers told reporters: "It's obviously five games in now and we haven't created anywhere near as much as what I would have liked.
"This is a team that certainly for the first couple of years was very creative and offensive, so we are still looking to find that way with a number of players coming in to get that balance in the team but certainly we would need to create more opportunities."
On Thursday, Liverpool will look to bounce back as they head to France to take on Bordeaux in the Europa League.
