John Arne Riise insists that he and Craig Bellamy have settled their infamous dispute.

Fulham fullback John Arne Riise has said that he and Liverpool's Craig Bellamy have long since settled their reported bust-up in 2007.

The Welshman was alleged to have attacked the Norwegian with a golf club during a team training session in Portugal ahead of Liverpool's Champions League tie with Barcelona, but Riise insists that the two are on good terms ahead of their Monday night showdown at Craven Cottage.

"We shook hands and settled it very quickly," said Riise.

"I came up against him earlier this month when Norway played Wales. We were winding each other up about it all.

"It's always good to catch up with Bellers. Liverpool have signed a great player for nothing."

Fulham are currently two points clear of the drop zone in 15th place in the Premier League.
