Pepe Reina happy with Wigan Athletic win

Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina is happy with his side's 4-0 win over Wigan this evening.

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has declared himself happy with his side's "straightforward" 4-0 win over Wigan Athletic this evening.

Luis Suarez was once again the star of the show, netting a hat-trick to add to Stewart Downing's opener as Liverpool cruised to victory.

However, Reina made a number of important saves to keep his side comfortably ahead, and admitted that they made the win even more enjoyable for him.

"It was fairly straightforward, yeah. Everything went brilliantly. It's more welcome after making some saves," said the Spanish keeper.

The win lifts Liverpool up to seventh in the Premier League table, three points behind city rivals Everton.
