David Pleat praises strength of Liverpool's attacking trio

David Pleat believes that Liverpool have the edge over their Premier League rivals due to the threat of Luis Suarez, Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge.

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager David Pleat believes that Liverpool have an advantage over their Premier League rivals due to their attacking trio.

Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling have contributed to the Reds' impressive form, which has placed them fourth in the table.

"What Liverpool have got, which no other club do, is three forwards who have great individuality, creativity and speed," Pleat told talkSPORT. "They don't need to rely on anyone else to help them create a goal.

"They can all do it on their own - Sterling, Sturridge and Suarez. They can all make something out of nothing. If you have got a three pronged attack, you're always going to score goals. They are in a very strong position at the moment."

Liverpool will take on Fulham at Craven Cottage this evening.
