Gary Neville won't rule out Liverpool, Chelsea in title race

Neville won't rule out Liverpool, Chelsea

Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has insisted that Liverpool and Chelsea still have a chance to win the Premier League title.

Manchester City are favourites to be crowned champions as victories from their last three games will almost certainly send the trophy to the Etihad Stadium.

Liverpool currently have a two-point lead over Chelsea at the top of the table, but both play a game fewer than City.

"City are in the box seat, but not to the extent where they're in control by any stretch of the imagination with the way the season's been," Neville told Sky Sports News. "It wouldn't surprise me at all if there was another twist.

"I don't think it's over. It has turned and the momentum has swung but that's not to say it can't swing back into Liverpool's favour, or even Chelsea's, to be fair. I don't rule either of them out."

City will face Everton at Goodison Park tomorrow, before welcoming Aston Villa and West Ham United to the Etihad Stadium.

Liverpool's last two games are against Crystal Palace and Newcastle United, while Chelsea will play Norwich City and Cardiff City.
