Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has thanked the club's fans for their support following his return from serious injury.
The Brazilian came on for the final 15 minutes of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Toronto FC after missing the last eight months with a cruciate knee ligament problem.
"Very happy to be back playing with the RED shirt," the 25-year-old tweeted. "Thank you for your support again. I will keep working hard to improve and back to my best."
The Merseysiders continue their North American tour on Wednesday when they face Roma in Boston.
