Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers, Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard win monthly awards

Liverpool have dominated the Premier League awards for March as Brendan Rodgers is named the Manager of the Month.

The Northern Irishman has been rewarded for his side's form, while captain Steven Gerrard and striker Luis Suarez have jointly won the Player of the Month award.

Rodgers has guided the Merseyside outfit to five wins out of five last month, which included victories over Tottenham Hotspur and arch rivals Manchester United.

Suarez, who is one goal shy of 30 this season, will share the league gong with Gerrard after the pair netted a combined 10 goals in Liverpool's winning run in March.

The Reds, who currently have a two-point lead at the top of the league table, will face third-placed Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday.
