Liverpool 'offer Klopp three-year deal'

Liverpool are reportedly set to offer former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp the manager's job at Anfield.

The Reds are currently looking for a new boss after sacking Brendan Rodgers three hours after the Merseyside derby draw at Everton on Sunday.

Klopp, who is out of work after leaving Dortmund last summer, has been linked to the role, along with ex-Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Reports have claimed that Liverpool's American owners Fenway Sports Group were split on appointing Klopp, but it appears that they will now back the German because he is willing to work within a structured system that includes a transfer committee.

According to Bosnian website Pravdabl, Klopp, who won two Bundesliga titles at Dortmund, has signed a three-year deal with Liverpool along with his assistant coach Zeljko Buvac.

Rodgers, who had been in charge of Liverpool for three years, failed to win a trophy with the Reds.
