Jurgen Klopp provides an update on his future as Liverpool manager, hinting that he is far away from finishing his time in charge.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has provided an update on his future.

The German took charge of the club for the 350th time this weekend when the Reds defeated Brentford 3-0, and despite speculation over his future, he made it clear he is not done yet.

"I am happy. When I arrived in 2015, the picture looked completely different. It has been intense times since then. Each little thing you do is really worth it because of the size, and the emotion of this club," Klopp told the press.

"It is like a family. We want to stay like this. You are not always lucky. I am lucky. We are far away from finishing the book so we will keep writing and see where we end up."

Klopp first took charge of Liverpool in October of 2015, and his current deal keeps him at Anfield until June 2024, although there has been some speculation that Steven Gerrard could be the man to replace him when the time comes.

The Reds will be back in action on Thursday in the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final against Arsenal, with the tie currently set at 0-0.
