John Aldridge critical of Victor Moses

Liverpool legend John Aldridge criticises Victor Moses for his display in their 3-1 defeat to Hull City on Sunday.

Liverpool legend John Aldridge has criticised Victor Moses for his performance in their 3-1 defeat to Hull City on Sunday.

The Reds crashed to a shock reverse at the KC Stadium to give the Tigers their first ever win against them, and Aldridge said that Moses's display simply "wasn't good enough".

"[Moses's performance] wasn't good enough and he needs to start proving himself," Aldridge wrote in his Liverpool Echo column.

"Scoring goals hasn't been a problem for Liverpool so far this season because Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge have been so prolific.

"But now we're without Sturridge others have to deliver. Moses has to create and score goals. It's what he's paid for. [He] needs to appreciate what a great opportunity he has at Liverpool."

The defeat leaves the Reds in fourth in the Premier League.
