Danny Ings happy to bide his time at Liverpool

Liverpool striker Danny Ings believes that it is important to maintain a "strong mentality" as he continues to adapt to life at Anfield.

Liverpool striker Danny Ings has revealed that he is unconcerned about failing to feature for the Merseyside giants at Stoke City last weekend.

Ings was an unused substitute as Philippe Coutinho netted Liverpool's winner at the Britannia Stadium, but the England Under-21 international has insisted that he is enjoying the early stages of life at Anfield.

The 23-year-old told LFCTV GO: "It is important you keep that strong mentality as it is important you are positive around the group.

"I come in every day with a smile on my face because I know I'm working with good people and fantastic players."

Ings netted 11 goals in 35 Premier League games for Burnley last season.
