Families of those involved in the tragedy of Hillsborough have been outraged by plans to introduce crowd barriers at the stadium for the first time since the disaster.
Metal barriers were blamed as a contributing factor towards the death of 96 Liverpool fans in 1989, and relatives of those involved have accused police and Sheffield Wednesday of insensitivity.
The barriers will be tested in the clash between Wednesday and West Ham on Sunday afternoon and Margaret Aspinall, who lost her 18-year-old son James in the tragedy, has admitted her concerns.
"It beggars belief that police have chosen an FA Cup match to test barriers. They don't appear to have given any thought whatsoever to the upset this will cause families of those who died in 1989," Aspinall told The Mirror.
South Yorkshire Police announced the trial of the barriers on Thursday.
