Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has insisted that he feels his long-term future belongs at Anfield.
Henderson has struggled to hold down a first-team place under Brendan Rodgers and has yet to start a Premier League this season.
The former Sunderland playmaker believes that he will force his way into first-team contention if he continues to work hard in training.
He told reporters: "I want my future to be at Liverpool so I'll give everything every day to make sure that happens.
"I definitely think in the future, given the opportunity I will take it and become a first-team regular for Liverpool."
Reds boss Rogers recently insisted that the £16m man remains part of his plans despite only using him sparingly this season.
