Jordan Henderson calls for Liverpool response

Liverpool vice-captain Jordan Henderson urges his side to respond to their defeat at Hull in the final four games of the Premier League season.

Liverpool vice-captain Jordan Henderson has urged his side to "bounce back" from their defeat at Hull City on Tuesday night in the remaining four games of the season.

Michael Dawson scored the only goal of the game at the KC Stadium to make it just four points from the last 15 available for Liverpool, a run that has effectively ended their Champions League hopes.

However, with Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton hot on their heels in the Premier League table, Henderson has insisted that letting their season peter out is not an option and eyes four wins from four at the end of the campaign, starting at home to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

"We've just got to keep going. We've got to move on as quickly as possible to the next game and hopefully try to win every game from now until the end of the season and see where we are," he told LFC TV.

"We've got to lift ourselves because we know at the weekend QPR will be right up for it and it will be a difficult game.

"But we set high expectations of ourselves and we expect to be winning games like this. The next game is important so we'll need to make sure we bounce back."

Henderson has made 50 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool this season, scoring seven goals.
