Steven Gerrard praises Luis Suarez

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has heaped praise on Luis Suarez for his performance against Norwich City this evening.

The Uruguayan striker scored all three of Liverpool's goals as the Reds claimed maximum points from their trip to Carrow Road.

Having witnessed the trio of goals, Gerrard described his teammate as "one of the best" footballers currently playing the game.

"He's a top player, one of the best in the world on his day and today was his day," Gerrard told BBC Sport. "He misses chances but he keeps going."

Suarez has now scored 11 Premier League goals this season.
