The Football Association will wait for Martin Atkinson's report before deciding whether to take action after missile-throwing.

The Football Association will wait to see referee Martin Atkinson's report before deciding whether or not to take action over the missile-throwing which took place in the Merseyside derby.

A coin was seemingly thrown at Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, while bottles were launched at teammate Craig Bellamy, during the Reds' 2-0 win at Goodison Park.

Atkinson is likely to submit his report tomorrow.
