Emre Can eager to learn from Jordan Henderson

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can hails Jordan Henderson and says that he is hoping to learn from the Reds' vice-captain.

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has revealed that he is hoping to learn from Jordan Henderson.

The England international's growing influence at Anfield was reflected with him being awarded the vice-captaincy last month, and Can, who arrived in the summer from Bayer Leverkusen, believes that his teammate is vital to the side.

He told the club's official website: "Jordan Henderson had a great season in the last campaign and I liked what I saw last term. I think he's a player who gives everything for the club.

"He's a battler and you can see that in training too. He's definitely a great player and he plays good football. He wasn't made vice-captain for no reason. I think I can learn a lot from him.

"He's full of running and he gives 100% for the club in every game and in every training session. I think I can learn from every player in my position. I'll give my all in training and I'll see what I can learn."

Can, who was signed for around £10m, is currently out injured with an ankle problem.
