The agent of Ajax head coach Frank de Boer has admitted that his client would not "close the door" on the opportunity to take charge of Liverpool.
With current Reds manager Brendan Rodgers supposedly under pressure, De Boer is one of a host of bosses to have been linked with the Anfield post.
His twin brother Ronald recently suggested that his sibling would strongly consider any offer that the Merseysiders were to make him and when asked for his take on the speculation, De Boer's representative Guido Albers provided a similar response.
"If Liverpool would contact us, he certainly won't close the door immediately. But he'll finish the season with Ajax," the Dutch media quotes Albers as saying.
De Boer took charge of Ajax in 2010 and he has since guided the club to four consecutive Eredivisie titles.
