Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Anfield.

Saturday morning's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup:

Lionel Messi to PSG 'would spark transfer chain including Mbappe, Salah'

Barcelona forward Lionel Messi may reportedly trigger a number of high-profile transfers if he joins Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

With less than five months remaining on his contract at Camp Nou, the Argentina international is being heavily linked with PSG and Manchester City.

If the 33-year-old opts to make the switch to Parc des Princes, Marca says that the deal could act as the catalyst for other players to move elsewhere.

PSG would likely be required to sell Neymar or Kylian Mbappe, potentially the latter with Real Madrid prepared to put together a proposal for the World Cup winner.

The report claims that Los Blancos regard Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah as an alternative if PSG are able to retain the services of Mbappe.

While Mbappe will have one year left on his contract in the summer, Salah is only tied to Liverpool until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Chelsea 'will attempt to beat Real Madrid to David Alaba'

Chelsea are reportedly firmly in the hunt for David Alaba but are currently behind Real Madrid when it comes to signing the Bayern Munich defender.

The 28-year-old's contract at the Allianz Arena is due to expire this summer, and the Austria international is widely expected to leave the reigning European champions on a free transfer.

A recent report claimed that Madrid had already agreed a four-year deal with Alaba, but it is thought that the player himself would rather move to the Premier League.

According to The Guardian, Thomas Tuchel's side will attempt to hijack Madrid's offer, although the Spanish champions are still regarded as the strong favourites to win the race for the versatile defender.

Alaba, who has also been linked with Manchester United and Liverpool over the last few months, has won nine Bundesliga titles during his time with Bayern.

The Austrian has also remained a key player for the German giants during the 2020-21 campaign despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, making 26 appearances in all competitions.
