Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has had to be taken off during Wednesday night's Champions League clash with Manchester City due to an apparent groin injury.
The Egypt international opened the scoring in the 12th minute of the quarter-final first leg at Anfield before playing a crucial part in Sadio Mane's goal on 31 minutes.
However, Salah appeared to injure his groin early in the second half and, after walking over to the Reds' medical team, went straight down the players' tunnel as Georginio Wijnaldum came on in his place.
The 25-year-old, who came off with Liverpool three goals up against Pep Guardiola's charges, has now scored 38 goals in all competitions for the Merseyside club this season.
Liverpool meet city rivals Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday before playing Man City in their Champions League quarter-final second-leg clash next Tuesday.
