Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. West Ham United

Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with West Ham United.

Liverpool will be looking to make it four straight wins in all competitions when they continue their 2020-21 Premier League campaign at home to West Ham United on Saturday.

The Reds are currently second in the Premier League table, having collected 13 points from their first six matches of the season.

Jurgen Klopp's side beat Sheffield United 2-1 in the league last weekend, while they also recorded a 2-0 victory over FC Midtjylland in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Virgil van Dijk

Liverpool are likely to be without Virgil van Dijk for the remainder of the 2020-21 campaign, with the Netherlands international picking up a serious knee injury against Everton in the Merseyside derby.

Fabinho picked up a hamstring issue against Midtjylland in the Champions League and will not be available for selection this weekend. The midfielder has also withdrawn from the Brazil squad for their November fixtures, suggesting that he will not be fit until at least the latter stages of next month.


Thiago Alcantara

Thiago Alcantara has missed Liverpool's last two matches due to the knee injury that he picked up against Everton in the Merseyside derby. The issue is not believed to be serious, though, and he could be available for selection against the Hammers this weekend.
