Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Watford

Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League meeting with Watford.

Liverpool square off against Watford on Saturday evening looking to move a step nearer to claiming the Premier League title.

After Monday's 3-2 triumph over West Ham United, Liverpool require four wins to end their prolonged wait for another top-flight crown.

However, with a number of players in the treatment room, Klopp may opt to rotate his starting lineup for the meeting with the Hornets.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Liverpool ahead of the clash at Vicarage Road.

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

After sustaining a recurrence of a calf injury, Shaqiri is expected to be sidelined for the foreseeable future, with Klopp insisting that the winger is not close to a return to full training.

Nathaniel Clyne

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Clyne is another player yet to turn out for Liverpool this calendar year having suffered a serious knee injury last summer. The 28-year-old might have played his last game for the club as his contract expires in June.

Jordan Henderson

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: March 16 (vs. Everton)

Henderson limped off late on in the defeat to Atletico Madrid with a hamstring injury. Klopp has since revealed that the skipper will be absent for approximately three weeks.

James Milner

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Muscular
Possible return date: February 29 (vs. Watford)

Having sustained a minor muscle strain ahead of the meeting with West Ham, no risks were taken on Milner. However, his absence was allegedly due to Klopp taking precautionary measures as a result of Henderson's spell on the sidelines.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no players suspended for this Premier League encounter.
